A Beginner’s Guide to Hiking

A Beginner’s Guide to Hiking

Heading outdoors hiking is not only great for your physical and mental health, but it’s a great way to explore your surroundings and nature. For me, it’s also a way to build my character and get to know myself better, clear my mind and put my camera to use capturing the beauty around me. And it makes me incredibly happy every time I hear that I have inspired someone else to start hiking for the first time. To help you embark on this journey, I wanted to share what I have learned through my hikes.

Scenic Iseltwald Loop Hike Off The Beaten Path

Nestled on the southern shore of Lake Brienz and just a short drive away from Interlaken, the quaint little village of Iseltwald is no secret and is well accessible. Due to all of these factors combined, it can sometimes feel quite crowded, making the incredible views a tad bit less enjoyable. However, there is a way to enjoy this beauty from a distance – the scenic loop hike above Iseltwald. What’s better – it includes a little detour to a lookout point with the most magnificent views. Let me show you the way!

Wengen – Leiterhorn Scenic Loop Hike

Wengen – Leiterhorn Scenic Loop Hike

Leiterhorn trail is a popular choice in winter for a scenic snowshoe tour from Wengen, however, it’s just as good and stunning in the summer. So I went out today and made it happen. But it wasn’t an easy journey… Continue reading “How I Faced My Fear And Jumped Out Of An Aeroplane”

From The First Pedal Strokes To The First Crash

From The First Pedal Strokes To The First Crash

Living in the mountains opens up many new opportunities, and mountain biking has been one of them. It’s not even two months since my first proper mountain bike arrived, and I’m already in too deep. Day Trip to Zermatt

Day Trip to Zermatt

To ever see Matterhorn with my own eyes seemed quite unreal. But, to be fair, living in the Swiss Alps – even more so. That would have been something unthinkable years ago. But hey, I’m here now. Therefore, living less than a 3-hour drive away from Zermatt was a reason good enough to finally go visit Zermatt and see the beast that Matterhorn is. And so we did!
